Kusadasi is a large town made up of several villages/districts which have joined together over time.
The town benefits from having a long sandy beach stretching much of the length of the town’s waterfront and most properties are within a kilometre of this beach.
Behind the town lies a range of unspoilt and peaceful green hills and mountains perfect for walking. Nestled in these hills are the villages of Sogucak and Yayla. These are ideal villages for those looking for a peaceful and relaxed way of life whilst still being within 10 - 15 minutes of the town centre.
The nearest airport is Izmir International which is approximately 55 Km (a 45 minute drive) to the north of Kusadasi.
Kusadasi has many historic points of interest including Ephesus and The House of the Virgin Mary as well as other various temples, mosques and monuments and tourist attractions.
Town Centre:
The town centre contains every possible amenity you might need including many banks, clothes shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and bars. There is a modern shopping area where the cruise ships come into dock in addition to a smaller boat marina. The majority of properties available in this area are apartments some of which enjoy fantastic views of the bay, harbour and marina.
Ladies Beach Area:
The area of Ladies Beach is one of the more expensive areas in Kusadasi. It is just outside the main town centre and is the most popular tourist area with many of the town’s hotels being located here. The beach itself is lovely and sandy and is lined in parts with restaurants and small shops. Again, apartments are more common in this area than villas.
Long Beach Area:
Long Beach is a 12 Km sandy beach which stretches from the Ladies Beach all the way to the National Park adjacent to Guzelcamli village. Parts of the beach are sometimes given different names to help identify them; these include Love Beach and Paradise Beach. The area behind the beach is on the most part flat and contains the villages of Davutlar and Guzelcamli. Most of the properties found in this area are villas and are only a short and level walk to the beach. Shops, restaurants and other amenities are found scattered throughout this area making it ideal for day to day living.
Sogucak and Yayla:
These small villages are found nestling in the hills which wrap around the back of Kusadasi. The properties in this area are mostly villas and due to the elevated positions they occupy, many have nice mountain or sea views. The area is peaceful and quiet but is only 10 – 15 minutes from Kusadasi Town Centre and 5 – 10 minutes from the Beach.
